Well, three wrecked shoot thru umbrella’s later and these are some of the shots that I took of a friend of mine Kirsty the other day. We’d planned to meet early afternoon to take some portrait photos as the good ole’ weather men said it was just going to be slightly overcast; well, add to that the near freezing temperature and the hurricane winds (ok, slight exaggeration there) you get the picture. Let’s just say that a pair of ruby slippers and the occasional shout of ‘Toto, Toto’ wouldn’t have gone amiss.

Glyn - @Govind…That’s exactly right, however I did wreck a couple of shoot thru 60″ umbrellas when the wind picked up
Govind Vekaria - Totally agree, lovely photos.
I guess, you set the shutter until the background was menacing enough and used soft lights (shoot through brollies) to light up teh subject.
Anonymous - Glyn,
excellent shots as always

Kirsty - I agree Glyn, it was a bit breezy that afternoon, but despite that, the results speak for themselves, fantastic!
From someone who really is not comfortable having their photo taken, you made me feel completely at ease and the afternoon was really enjoyable. Thank you so much x
