I can’t believe how quickly the last week has gone, but I guess that’s always the way when you’re on holiday.

Yesterday I sent out Issue #2 of my newsletter with details of new workshop dates, the latest webinar, link and password to the 40 minutes of Free Photoshop Tutorials video I recorded, special offers and more…

Now I’d like to say it was intentional but alas I can’t as the eagle eyed of you will have noticed a typo where the Early Bird Pricing deadline for the 21st July Workshop was shown as 11 August 2012…when it should have said 11th July…doh! Really excited that I have a front cover and article coming out in the March edition of Pictures Magazine. Makes me smile thinking that my best mate Dave Clayton has gone from not really liking having his photo taken to now gracing the cover of a magazine

Frizoo App
There’sc alot going on behind the scenes with my new iPhone App Frizoo. We decided to do a soft launch this week sending the App out to a limited number of people to pick holes in it before it goes to all of the official reviewers. Feedback has been very constructive I’m glad to say so we’re making a few alterations to a couple of things and hope to have the next build ready real soon.

Friday already so I thought I’d leave you with a bit of news and a couple of updates as we head into the weekend:

Frizoo
Ok so to let you know what’s happening…

All the details of those folks who are very kindly reviewing and testing the App have been sent to the developers Analysis21 and have now added you into the release. I’ll be sending out the Frizoo App in the next few days along with a very short video introduction but as for when it’s going to be released into the App Stores we’ll just have to wait for Apple to clear everything which hopefully won’t be too long now. So once the reviewers have had a play we’ll be able to submit it…exciting times

Photoshop World App
Talking off Apps, if you’re going to Photoshop World in Washington DC next month and have an iPhone / iPad the official Photoshop World App has now been updated with the Class Schedule…of which there’s loads!!!

There’s still some more details yet to be updated such as some Instructor bio’s and class descriptions as is on the website but the class names and the tracks they’re in are all there to see. So if you’re going and you have an iOS device it’ll definitely be worth downloading this FREE App to help you plan what classes you’re going to go to, where they are and at what times so you don’t miss a thing

Following on from last Friday’s post here’s another sneak peek at what we can all expect to see in the next version of Photoshop…CS6

Nigel St-Lewis
Great to see that my buddy Nigel St Lewis is getting the recognition he so richly deserves…
This week he’s the featured bodybuilder on a website called simplyshredded.com which along with his interview is accompanied by some of the shots we worked on when he was in the studio during 2011.

The Shtuff People Say to Photographers

Well now Alan has put down his experience, his knowledge, tips, techniques, the how and how not to; this new book covers everything from requesting a photo pass, shooting the show, dealing with equipment, post production and pro tips from other concert photographers, musicians, publicists and more…everything you could possibly need!

Photoshop World is the largest Photoshop and Photography Training convention of it’s kind in the world and this coming March is being held in Washington DC. Having had the call from Scott Kelby I’m now one of the Official Instructors and am so excited to be teaching a class on Sunday 25th March at 3.45pm which I’m calling ‘Photoshop Fast & Furious‘.

I can’t wait to share what I have planned; a class packed with exciting and fun compositing and retouching techniques that as the class description says: Will leave you spending less time being corrective and more time being creative!

If you’re going to be there be sure to say hi; you’ll recognise me from the Union Jack Boxer Shorts, Bowler Hat and Cup of Tea in hand…oh and with my little finger extended of course.
