The last few days have seen me back in North Yorkshire photographing a wedding with my buddy Mark. This time we found ourselves at the Golden Fleece Hotel in Thirsk for the Wedding Ceremony followed by a surprise trip on a vintage bus to Byland Abbey for Champagne and canapes.
Byland Abbey has to be seen to be believed. Now in ruin and cared for by National Heritage, it’s a truly magical place - the perfect location for Wedding Photography.
I’m guessing we spent around an hour and a half there having great taking photographs and then it was back to the Golden Fleece to continue the celebrations with the new Mr & Mrs Moore.
All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable day spent with wonderful people.
